Live, Love, Laugh….and Sing!

Mood: Infinite
Every quiet moment is occupied by my insistent humming:
”I…
Will learn to live before I die
Will learn to love
And learn to try….Not to give it all away”

Freedom!
January 22, 2010
The first semester of my last year of highschool has come to an end!
From here on, I will be blessed with and end with no stress!
My classes left are art (which has no exam), french (which I can speak fluently), Law and Psychology (which I adore!)
If I could do somersaults right now, I would! My heart feels lifted
anyway, in english class, I received my journals back and got a pretty decent grade. My journal, says someone very close, resembles the kinds of topics that I usually write in this blog. So here I am to share it with you:
“Today I realised that when people ask: “How are you?” they’re not looking for an answer”
My brother and I were watching a show together when I heard the previous quote. I toned out for the rest of the show to contemplate the truth in this.
I am asked an average of 20 times a day: “How are you?”. I’ve never once answered truthfully. Because the question politely translates into: “I have nothing more to say to you, do you have anything for us to talk about?” So of course I don’t answer truthfully. Do I want myself to be the topic of a conversation with someone I have nothing else to talk to about? People who even when I look horribly sick, accept: “I’m great!” as an answer? No. Of course they’re not looking for one.
Same goes for when people come up to you while you’re crying and ask, are you alright? That frustrates me to the bone! Of course I’m not okay! Would I be crying if I was okay?
And the thing is, that question is SUCH a rhetorical question…yet you HAVE to answer
But then I wondered, when I ask “How are you?”, am I looking for an answer? And on those occasions that I AM, do I just come off as everyone else?
It’s all just so irritatingly superficial.
And yes, for all you Vampire Diaries fans out there, the quote was from the first episode
I’m trying to ride this Vampire wave since I completely fell off the Twilight boat when Edward uttered the 3 most unforgettful words of my life:
“Hold on spider-monkey”
…I have so much to say about the lameness of this quote that I will need to save it for another post.
Until then, take care <3
Dress up for aids!

I came upon something super interesting recently…
Now I’m not gonna lie to you. At first, I was like O_O
this is super weird…..and…..it made me feel uneasy because: “ should condoms really be used for this purpose?!”
WELL see for yourself!!!
Did your uneasy-ness not turn into fascination?!?
These dresses are beautiful!!
It’s nice to know that condoms are actually being used since 2800 teens get pregnant each day
